We query ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity with web search enabled. The same prompt set runs across all four.
Brands are ranked by share of mentions on prompts that do not name any brand. This measures category authority, not branded recall.
New runs each month. Operators review and lock each run before publication. Previous runs are archived.
Ranked brands are listed via the sub-category pages. The path to ranking is recommendation infrastructure, not advertising.
PRI for brands is the subscription product that builds the recommendation infrastructure AI cites when it recommends brands.
How PRI for brands worksPRI measures the share of AI brand recommendations within each sub-category of Mattresses and Bedding. Shares within a sub-category sum to 100 percent. There is no global category score because cross-sub-category comparison is not meaningful.
The full list is in the grid above, grouped by country. New sub-categories are added as data accumulates. Sub-categories without live runs appear under Coming soon.
Currently Australia, United Kingdom, United States. New countries are added as PRI runs complete. Each country has its own ranking, because AI recommendations vary by market.
Monthly. Each canonical run is operator-reviewed and locked before publication. Previous runs are archived and remain accessible.
Within each sub-category, we run a structured prompt set across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity with web search enabled. Each brand mention is counted. A brand's share is the percentage of total mentions that go to that brand.
Brands appear when AI mentions them in responses to non-branded category prompts. Brands not yet recognised as part of AI's spontaneous category answer will not appear. The fix is recommendation infrastructure: structured data, comparison content, evidence, and trust signals that AI can cite.
No. Rankings reflect AI assistant outputs only. Brands cannot pay AI See You to influence their ranking. The commercial product is helping brands improve their underlying recommendation infrastructure, not their ranking on this page.
