Citation Intelligence
When an AI system recommends a hotel, it is drawing on sources. Citation Intelligence captures those sources, resolves them to known domains and properties, and shows which of them are shaping recommendations across your property, your competitors and your whole destination.
What it answers
Which sources does AI rely on in my market?
Every recommendation traces back to the domains that informed it. Citation Intelligence resolves those domains and ranks them by how often they appear behind recommendations in your destination and your categories.
Are OTAs shaping recommendations more than we are?
Sources are classified by type: OTA, editorial, brand or chain, direct property and aggregator. You can see where the balance sits in your market rather than assuming it.
Which domains keep appearing behind my competitors?
Compare the source profile of your property against the properties AI recommends alongside you, by category and by platform.

AI platforms measured
Figures as at 4 September 2026. Citations are captured from the stored responses behind every measured recommendation, so the record can be reconstructed rather than re-estimated.
Domain Explorer
Search a domain and see where it appears: which destinations, which recommendation categories, which properties it is associated with, and on which AI platforms. This is how a commercial team moves from “OTAs matter” to “this specific source is behind these specific recommendations”.

Source composition
Every citation is classified by source type, so you can see the balance between OTA, editorial, brand or chain, direct property and aggregator sources in a market rather than assuming it. Links that do not resolve are recorded and excluded from routing, because an invalid link is not evidence.
Platform differences
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity draw on different sources for the same question. Citation Intelligence separates them, so a strategy aimed at one platform is not mistaken for a strategy that works everywhere.

Destination and category differences
The sources behind a luxury recommendation are not the sources behind an airport stay. Citation Intelligence is scoped the same way recommendations are, by destination and by recommendation category.
Source movement
As Pulses accumulate, the source record becomes longitudinal. You can see which domains are gaining or losing ground behind recommendations in your market. This requires two comparable certified periods and is available in markets that have them.

How this differs from Evidence Intelligence
Evidence Intelligence answers why a recommendation happened, for one property, in one market. Citation Intelligence answers a market-wide question: which sources are shaping recommendations across a destination, whoever is being recommended. One is diagnostic. The other is a map of the source ecosystem you compete inside.
See it in public
Every published destination page carries a Citation Intelligence summary for that market: how many separate sources were cited, and how many citations were captured across the four platforms. The full source record is available in Early Access.
