David Willey is a digital marketing expert and an experienced operator. He has owned and operated multiple marketing agencies and has worked with brands including Amazon, Nike, Apple, Spotify and Samsung.
He founded AI See You in March 2025 and leads it from Sydney as Founder & CEO. The company grew out of that marketing experience: as travellers increasingly ask AI platforms where to stay, hotels, hotel groups and destinations need independent evidence of what AI actually recommends, measured across the whole market rather than one prompt at a time. AI See You was set up as an independent research company to provide that evidence.
AI See You
AI See You is an independent AI recommendation research company for travel. It measures how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews recommend accommodation across entire destinations. Every property in a destination is measured with the same methodology, whether or not it is a customer. September 2026 coverage spans 77 destinations in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom, 8,944 accommodation properties and 318,641 AI recommendations analysed.
